Martín is an Industrial Engineer from the University of Salvador. He holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in the energy industry, focused on business, commercial and supply chain development. His path at YPF began in 2009, in the O&G sector. In 2016 he joined YPF Luz as head of Economic - Financial Modeling, then he was coordinator and responsible for Business Development, Commercial Manager until the end of 2023, when he assumed his current position as Business Development Manager.
YPF Luz has an installed capacity of 3.2 MW and generates 9.1% of the country's electrical energy. With 11 years on the market, it provides efficient, competitive, profitable and sustainable energy that optimizes natural resources. The company provides electricity generation solutions adapted to the needs of each client, which include the supply of thermal and renewable energy. We have 17 assets, in operation and construction, which are strategically diversified in 8 provinces, and they reinforce our market leadership and federal presence. Our vision of the business for a window of 3 to 5 years shows opportunities for expansion in the mining sector, for which we are already working on offering energy solutions, including high voltage transmission lines to bring renewable energy to the site where the mining companies will operate.
