ALSWith more than 25 years of experience, Rocco currently works as Business Development Manager of ALS Geochemistry for Chile and Argentina. Graduated from the Laboratory Chemist career at the University of La Serena, he began his career as a Chemist at the Chilean Laboratory GEOLAB (today ALS), then worked for a few years as a Chemist at Minera El Indio (Barrick) in the Coquimbo Region. Then, he moved to the Aysén Region where for almost 10 years he was in charge of the Laboratory and Quality Control of Minera Cerro Bayo (Coeur D'Alene), in the middle of that period, worked for a year as Manager of Analytical Services for SGS Chile. Before coming to ALS he was in charge of the QAQC of the geological services company, IMG Ltda.
Resumen
Multi-element analyzes have become a fundamental tool to add value to our projects. However, the offer is varied, and it is important to know how to discriminate which of them is correct, according to the stage of the project, type of deposit and questions to be answered. This brief talk will give you the basic directions to start the selection, we will talk about acid digestions, available analytes, reading instruments and detection limits.
