Yannick Lafreniere: He started working in the drilling industry as a laborer in 1992 and worked his way up over the next decades working in over 25 countries, to become an owner of his company, Blackhawk Drilling, formed in 2004 in Canada After selling Blackhawk drilling in 2012, Yannick earned his Commercial Helicopter pilot’s license. He flew helicopters in Canada, USA and South America. He managed GSH Helicopters (Canadian operator) in Bolivia and Chile until recently when Covid ceased the operations. Yannick Joined Major Drilling Argentina in August 2021, as General Manager. Major Drilling is a leader in the drilling industry with operations in 18 countries, having its headquarters in Moncton, New Brunswick. Sofía Gallardo: Sofía currently works as an Operations Assistant. Graduated as an English Teacher from the National University of Cuyo and with additional and complementary studies at Baylor University in the United States. She combines her solid academic training with extensive professional experience in various fields. Throughout her career, Sofía has played significant roles in both the educational field and the oil industry. Since 2019, he has been part of Major Drilling Argentina, where he has held several key positions, accumulating valuable experience that has allowed him to reach his current position in the operations area. In her role, Sofía applies her knowledge and skills to continually improve operational processes and contribute to the company's success.
