Outlook and progress in sustainability in the mining industry

Luciano is Executive Director of the Cámara Argentina de Empresarios Mineros. He has more than 16 years of experience in the mining and energy sectors. He has a degree in Public Relations and specializations in photojournalism and corporate social responsibility. Given his expertise in Communication, Institutional Relations and Sustainability, he has actively worked in relations with the national and provincial governments, as well as with trade union and business associations, the media and civil organizations.
Resumen
The mining industry has made progress in environmental and productive sustainability, in planning its social investment, in transparency and in inclusion. The progress of the EITI and HMS programs, data from the latest social investment study carried out by CAEM, and figures and actions on the role of women in mining will be shown.
