The Amarillo Grande Project represents the 4th discovery for the Grosso Group along their 27 years of exploration in Argentina. Controlled by Minera Cielo Azul, from Blue Sky Uranium Corp., this project comprises the Ivana deposit which represents the biggest uranium discovery in the country on more than 40 years. Such deposit has the potentiality for covering 100% of the local demand of uranium and vanadium, totally covered by imports nowadays. An independent preliminary economic assessment presented in 2019 indicates the economic potentiality of the Ivana deposit, mainly due to worldwide potential competitive operating and investment costs. Furthermore, it considers sustainable practices and processing from the environment and social point of view and would contribute to the argentine nuclear fuel generation required to achieve the goals of reduction greenhouse gas emissions.
