Mariano is a lawyer specialized in business rights from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. He has a diploma in Environment and Community Relations in Mining from the Cámara Minera de Perú. He has been a legal advisor for public environmental policies and since 2011 he has been a legal advisor to the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica on administrative, environmental, mining, energy, contractual and compliance law. He is Academic Secretary in the Sala de Derecho de Energía y de los recursos Naturales of the Colegio de Abogados de la Provincia de Córdoba. Mariano has also participated as a speaker in numerous conferences and events in the country.
In the current context of pandemic and uncertainty in the economies of the countries, the mining zoning project of the Chubut plateau is proposed as a hope of enhancing the productive matrix of the province and its inhabitants. On this occasion, the background and context that preceded the mining zoning project, its implications and consequences will be addressed. In addition, the systematized interpretation of the aforementioned project will be developed, with the weighting of the various aspects involved in matters of constitutionality, legislative technique, mining law and environmental problems. Possible links with the United Nations "Sustainable Development Goals" will be established. Finally, a conclusive legal analysis linked to the development of federal mining public policy will be presented.
